Warson Woods has implemented CodeRED, a high-speed emergency mass notification service.
The CodeRED system will serve as the backbone of the Warson Woods emergency planning and communications outreach to both residents and staff. The system sends telephone calls, text messages, emails and posts to social media channels to inform residents to better protect life and property. The CodeRED system will be used to send critical communications, including: inclement weather warnings, criminal activities, road closures/traffic alerts, shelter in place/lockdowns, boil water advisories, evacuation notices and missing persons/children alerts.
All residents living within the Warson Woods City Limits can register ONE of the following ways (only one option is necessary):
Visit our Warson Woods CodeRED website here – for detailed step-by-step instructions on this option, click here.
Text “WOODS” to 99411 for a direct link to register.
Stop by City Hall and fill out a paper form.
Also – you can download the free CodeRED mobile alert app by visiting the Google Play or Apple App Store and searching for “CodeRED Mobile Alert App.” For detailed, step-by-step instructions on this option, click here. *PLEASE NOTE: username and password for the app will need to be different than the website if you also registered on the website.
