Upcoming City Events

Royal Oak Park is now open for use by the residents of Warson Woods and their guests.  Please exercise caution as some of the turf is new and will continue to establish solid root structures in the coming weeks.  Thank you for your patience while we completed the project.  We hope everyone enjoys the “new” Royal Oak Park. Requests for Pavilion reservations should be made with the City Clerk, Kathy Mahany, at 314-965-3100. Any conflicts will be resolved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thank you

Identify Theft and Phone/Internet Scams

The world is full of people trying to make a quick buck. Protect yourself, your family and your hard earned property with some advice from the government regarding identity theft and phone/internet scams. If you ever need assistance, or have a doubt regarding the legitimacy of a situation, please call the Warson Woods Police Department as soon as possible for assistance. For some important information, visit:

Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is no laughing matter. In fact, thousands of women and men every year lead tortured lives because of emotional abuse, physical abuse or a combination of the two at home. If you think you are the victim of abuse contact the police, a local shelter or tell someone you trust and have them help you find somewhere to go. Don't wait until it's too late. Go to this website for assistance and resources:

Elder or Child Abuse

Few things in this world are as heartbreaking as child or elder abuse. The elderly are the creators of our families, keepers of our history and the matriarchs/patriarchs of society. Please protect them and give them the respect they deserve.

Children are our future and can only learn from the examples they see and experience. No child deserves to live in fear of abuse of pain. Please help them because they cannot help themselves.

If you suspect either of these situations exist, contact the police department or one of these agencies:

Animal Abuse

Our four legged friends need help too. Warson Woods is a very animal rich community who loves their pets dearly. If you see any behavior which seems dangerous or destructive to our pets or the pets of your neighbors, please don't hesitate to contact us. We will investigate and take action if neccessary. Contact the police department with any concerns. Here is a resource:

Suicidal Thoughts or Hopelessness

You don't have to face the challenges of depression or loneliness alone. If you feel you are at wits end and need crisis intervention, please call for help before you hurt yourself of someone else. If you need crisis help over the phone, please contact:

Bullying and Peer Pressure

With the national attention focusing on bullying and peer pressure in today's society, our children are at a greater risk than ever. Ask you kids if they are the victim of bullying and help them deal with the challenges of being a youth in the "social network" era where secrets are much harder to keep and their personal information is public at all times. Sometimes just getting on their level and listening to what they have to say can be just what they need. If the bullying or behavior crosses the line and you think legal action is neccessary, please call the police department, your childs school or any other resources you have to put an end to destructive behavior. If you need help, contact:

Drugs and Alcohol

Children and adults alike fall victim to these two evils. If you have a child you suspect is using drugs or alcohol please get involved as soon as possible and try to steer them towards a brighter future. If you are an adult with a drinking or drug problem, there are many resources for treatment and recovery. Take the time and educate yourself of the dangers and problems associated with illicit drugs or excessive alcohol use. Don't become a sterotype, get some help today. Contact the following for treatment.

Drunk or Drugged Driving

Drunk and drugged driving are leading killers and causes of fatal car accidents. Too many families have been ripped apart because of this careless behavior. If you suspect someone is driving while drugged or drunk, contact the police and give a description of what they are driving. Don't chase them, and get away from them if you can.
